EXAMPLES OF SERVICE SCENARIOS

Rainy Season Slope Monitoring. During typhoon season, a coastal city installs a GeoMoni system across 12 critical slopes. Wireless inclinometers and rain gauges send real-time data to the cloud. The city’s disaster team receives SMS alerts when movements exceed thresholds, allowing them to preemptively close roads and evacuate nearby residents. The system helps reduce disaster risk and ensures government preparedness.

Tunnel Deformation Monitoring. A metro tunnel project in Southeast Asia uses GeoMoni’s multipoint extensometers and convergence sensors to monitor ground movements during excavation. Data is automatically visualized on a web dashboard. Engineers identify subtle deformation patterns and adjust the TBM operation accordingly, preventing overexcavation and improving safety.
Construction Site Monitoring. A building contractor installs settlement plates and vibration sensors from GeoMoni at a high-rise foundation in Dhaka. The real-time data helps track ground settlement due to adjacent piling works. When excessive settlement is detected, the project manager pauses work and reinforces the surrounding area—saving cost and preventing future structural issues.

Remote Dam Safety Inspection. A mountain reservoir utilizes GeoMoni to monitor seepage and uplift pressure via piezometers and borehole sensors. Since the site is difficult to access, solar-powered loggers and satellite data transmission allow 24/7 remote monitoring. Engineers track readings from Hong Kong HQ and receive automatic reports weekly.
